Studying the Word of God is essential for spiritual growth, guidance, and wisdom. In Psalm 119:105, it is written, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path,” illustrating that the Scriptures provide direction in life’s journey. Furthermore, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 affirms that “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Thus, studying the Word equips believers for righteous living and service.
