Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday, which commemorates Jesus’ entrance into the holy city of Jerusalem. He is greeted by the shouts of the crowd: “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” Jesus reflects how to serve others during the Last Supper (Communion) with the disciples. By the end of that same week, the crowds will be shouting, “Crucify him!” Then we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, marking the victory over sin and death!
