Remain Steadfast (Part 2)

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58

As we enter the final months of 2026, we want to express our gratitude for your faithful financial support of Hebron’s ministry. We began the year on a strong note, with giving ahead of budget through June for the first time in years. At that time, we encouraged one another to remain steadfast in generosity, trusting that our collective faithfulness would sustain the good works God has called us to do.

Since then, giving has slowed, reflecting, in part, the financial pressures many households are experiencing. We recognize that the rising costs of fuel, utilities, groceries, and other necessities have stretched family budgets. We understand these challenges, and we want you to know that we are mindful of the sacrifices many are making. At the same time, we want to be candid about our financial situation. Our 2026 budget called for an 8% increase in giving—a challenging goal, but one established to fund our ministry needs. Our ministry priorities can only be sustained through the shared generosity of our congregation.

Scripture reminds us in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that each should give what they have decided in their heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And in Galatians 6:9, we are encouraged not to grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up.

As we approach year-end, we invite each of you to prayerfully consider your giving and, if circumstances permit, renew or increase your commitment. We ask not out of guilt or pressure, but out of a shared desire to faithfully support the worship, care, outreach, and service that defines our life together in Christ.

May we finish this year with faith, generosity, and confidence in God’s provision, remaining steadfast together in the work entrusted to us.
