There is nothing like a good redemption story. It is one of the story arcs that we love to watch. This week we are going to see the interaction between Jesus and Peter after Jesus has risen and is appearing to many.
As we prepare for this, take a moment and watch this video clip.
- Is this how you envisioned it happening in your mind?
- Do you find it interesting that Jesus asked him 3 times?
- Think about each response that Jesus gave to Peter after Peter said that He did, in fact, love Jesus. What do you think Jesus meant by those responses?
- John is the only Gospel that reflects this interaction. Considering what Jesus said about John to Peter, what do you think Jesus had in mind when He had this conversation with Peter?
Take a moment to pray and reflect on your own personal redemption in Christ. Make sure that you spend time in that space as you remember what Jesus did for you and how he took you from death to life.
