Let There Be Christmas – Christmas Choral Cantata

Date: 11/29/2026
  - 11/29/2026
Time: 7:00pm
  - 8:00pm

Advent is a season of expectation—a time to reflect on the hope, peace, joy, and love we have in Jesus Christ as we prepare our hearts and minds to celebrate His birth. This year, we invite you to join us for Let There Be Christmas, a Christmas cantata by Joseph Martin. This special service will be led by choir and piano, following the themes of Advent by using a collection of choral anthems, scripture-centered reflections, and congregational singing. Rather than a Lessons and Carols service, this cantata offers a similar opportunity to sing familiar carols, framed by themes of the season.

This gathering will be a special opportunity for worship, stepping away from the business of daily life to solely prepare our hearts for the Advent season and the celebration of the birth of Christ. Through the use of music and familiar texts, we will reflect on the promises of God, the hope of the waiting world, and the fulfillment of those promises through the coming of the Savior. As we sing and listen together, we are reminded of the story of God’s love and faithfulness.

Bring your family and children, invite a friend, or share the invitation with a neighbor. This celebration is open to the entire community, and we are delighted to welcome you! Come and prepare your heart for Christmas as we worship together and proclaim the good news of Christ’s coming!
